Giving Back to the Regent Park School of Music

05 May Giving Back to the Regent Park School of Music

Saturday Night Superstars was incredibly grateful to be part of a great evening in support of the Regent Park School of Music on April 20th, 2016. The event was called Crescendo, an amazing night that featured a group of stellar artists including Reuben and the Dark, the Devin Cuddy Band, Braden Barrie, Alex Pangman and the incredible Andy Kim.

Here are some of the highlights from the event:

Regent Park School of Music is non-profit community music school.   Their purpose is to give as many kids as possible a music education, by removing the financial obstacle.

This year, they are set to give 1,400 young people aged 3-18 a highly subsidized music education at the central hub in Daniels Spectrum in Regent Park and in satellite locations in Jane and Finch, Parkdale and other high-priority neighbourhoods in Toronto.

Their goal is to help kids succeed through music.  For over 16 years they have seen that the study of music allows them to flourish creatively, personally and academically…enriching their lives and future prospects.
