In early 2013, Matt was introduced to George Brown College’s faculty of Continuing Education by a former colleague. Later that year he was presented with the opportunity to teach a course in the Arts and Design department. It was a great fit and Matt continues to build curriculum at GBC. User Experience Design has been a fundamental part of Matt’s career, and he continues to be engaged as Program Lead.
Matt teaches the successful introductory course: The Fundamentals of User Experience Design. Matt has also authored 2 courses as part of the User Experience Design Certificate, including User Experience Research and Strategy, and Usability Testing.
Matt is currently an Adjunct Professor at both the Faculty of Design at George Brown College, and the Faculty of Communication, Art and Design at Seneca College.
I found your teaching approach to be very effective - I really enjoyed the mix of discussion and practical homework assignments.

Whether it be a wedding, corporate function or charity gala, Matt is equally confident taking the lead as Master of Ceremonies. The value he provides is not only in his presentation skill, but in his thorough preparation, not to mention his ‘quick on your feet’ mentality.
An engagement as an MC kicks off with a one on one meeting with the client to discuss the ins and outs of the event, and capture any anomalous items. This ensures complete preparedness and prevents any misconceptions. Matt is an easygoing but strong-willed individual who will bring a confident pizzazz to your function.
